The Slot Machine Whisperer

There is a city story out there regarding a guy who could go into any Casino in any city, walk straight up to a slot machine, whisper something into its slot, pull on its arm and out would pour a jackpot.
He was known as the Slot machine game Whisperer.
Well, I’ve certainly not met anybody similar to that. Except in nearly every single Gambling den I’ve been I’ve heard men and women talk of this story.
I’ve noticed persons talk to slot machines. I have observed people yell at slots. I have noticed folks smack slot machines. Except I have by no means seen them win the jackpot following doing such a thing.
The first time I heard about the Slot machine Whisperer I was in a Reno Gambling establishment. I was playing black jack when I heard a thrill go via the Gambling house. The player next to me, his name was George, advised me that the buzz was because someone had seen the Slot machine game Whisperer enter the Betting house. He then went on to let me know about the legend of the Whisperer and how he had mastered slots machine games.
Shortly after that there have been security guards jogging all around. And they have been all bee lined to the slot pit.

I’ve never run into the Slot machine Whisperer. I do not know if he even exists. I think of him as an urban story or a myth some slot machine game gambler dreamed up.
But the thought of a person who can master slot machine games just by whispering to them is sort of enchanting. Like a contemporary day Casino Robin Hood.
